I would really like to develop a webquest for astronomy but I am having difficultly setting aside time to do this. There are a lot of things going on right now and I cannot seem to find a comfortable middle ground on all of the stuff. (I just told Cara that I am venting about time management buy using up more time venting, irony here?) The class meetings for the technology stuff seem to be coming very fast and I do not feel like I have given justice to any of the topics that have been shared.
I guess I am just a little frusterated with the amount of stuff that I want to do and the amount of stuff I have to do and how all of that fits into a busy schedule.
Any answers?

Time management is always been an issue for me.. i guess I'm happy to see that even veteran teachers still deal with this issue. I think we must realize that with all these new ideas we can not be expected to introduce them all at once. Its too much for us, and so take it in baby steps. Introduce some now, save some for later. I think this will make it more worthwhile for not only you but your students. If its a rushed idea it typically come across "rushed" to the kids.
I created a WebQuest and yes, it took a lot of time, but I am excited to use it. I had shared a site with Kendra to use with her Mystery Lit. kids and even the ones that struggle with doing homework, and ones that don't share much in class, were engaged and loved the format of the WebQuest assignment. I think that if you do put the time into it, Bryan, you will be pleased with the results.
